Clean your data layer
The Littledata Tracking Audit scans your storefront and investigates every tag sending shopper data. Free, in about a minute.
THE REPORT
Three numbers, measured on your store
The report does not estimate. Every figure comes from the scan of your storefront:
- Tracking accuracy: which of the platforms you kept Littledata can feed, and the option to connect your own Google or Klaviyo account to measure the gap on real data
- Security and privacy: how many companies receive shopper data from your storefront today, and how many after you remove what you don't use
- Site speed: your mobile Lighthouse score as it is now, and again with the scripts you're removing blocked
How the Tracking Audit works
We record everything the page sends
Every tracking network ping is traced back to how the tag got onto the page, and checks what fires before and after consent.
Tick what you no longer use
Mark the platforms and apps you have stopped using and investigate how the data is collecting.
Get the report, share it
Three numbers, measured on your store. Email it to your developer, agency or marketing team with the list of what to remove.

WHAT THE AUDIT FINDS
Every tag, where it came from, and whether it should still be there
For each marketing platform on your storefront the audit lists the account it sends to and how the tag got onto the page, then flags what to fix.
Sent twice
The same account fed by two installs, such as a tag manager container and a tag pasted into the theme. Conversions get counted twice.
More than one account
Two GA4 properties or two Meta pixels on one page usually means an old setup was never removed.
Dead tags
Installed but never sent a request during the visit. Pure weight on the page, and a script nobody is watching.
Fires before consent
Sent shopper data before the cookie banner was answered, checked from a European visit so the banner appears.
WHY IT MATTERS
A forgotten script is a liability three times over
Recent Shopify app hacks showed that a compromised app does not need to be one you still use. It only needs to be one that still loads.
- Security: every script on the storefront is a place malicious code can be swapped in. Fewer scripts means fewer places to protect
- Privacy: a tag you forgot about fires regardless of what the consent banner says. Sending customer data to a tool you no longer use is likely a breach of your own privacy policy, and of GDPR or CCPA where they apply
- Speed: tracking libraries are one of the largest contributors to page load lag on mobile, which affects both ranking and conversion rate
